BF Mutare is based in Mutare and operates right around Zimbabwe. You tell us the model, the budget and the timeline — we source it, and we handle everything between the auction floor and your driveway.
The short version
We have been importing and delivering vehicles for years before this website existed. The photographs on this site are a fraction of the cars that have gone through our hands.
The office is in Mutare, but the work is not. Cars go out to owners right around Zimbabwe, and we source them from wherever the right vehicle at the right price happens to be.
We photograph our own vehicles. Every image here is a real car on a real Mutare street on its way to a real owner — which is also why some of them have dust on the paint.

Vehicle clearing
We handle the customs side of bringing the vehicle in, which is the part that catches most private importers out.
Rebate facilitation
If your import qualifies for a duty rebate, we take you through claiming it rather than leaving you to it.
Home and port delivery
Collect at the port if you would rather, or have the vehicle brought to your door. Your choice, not ours.
Nationwide delivery
Anywhere in Zimbabwe. Mutare is where we are based, not the limit of where we operate.
What we are working towards
Make the paperwork the easy part
Duty, clearance and registration are where most import stories go wrong. We want a customer to never once have to chase a document themselves.
Put a car within reach of more people
Spreading payment over twenty-four months is the start of that, not the end of it. The aim is that owning a decent vehicle is a plan, not a windfall.
Keep the whole chain visible
From the auction sheet to the plate on the bumper, a customer should be able to see where their car is and what stage it is at.
Grow without dropping the standard
More vehicles a month means nothing if handovers start slipping. We would rather move steadily and keep the reputation the business was built on.
02The visit
Our suppliers came to see us
One of our supplier teams travelled from Japan to Mutare to meet the people they had been shipping to, walk the operation, and see where the vehicles end up.
Buying a car from overseas asks you to trust a chain you cannot see. This is part of that chain, standing in our office.
